Happy Anniversary Katrina! It's been a memorable 2 years. You've change countless hundreds of thousands of lives forever. You've left at least as many homeless and destitute. You've taken the lives of nearly 1500 innocent people. And yet, we're still here. We keep trudging forward because we won't leave the "Grande Dame", that is New Orleans, to die. We will pick her up, dust her off and she will again be the proud Jewel of the South. You may have beaten and broken our collective bodies, but our spirit is stronger than ever. Till we meet again...
